Are You Breathing Correctly?

 

Breathing is a gift that is given to all of us when we are birthed and when we are born.  These days breathing is taken for granted.  Many people lead busy lives and although they take breaths they are not breathing.  They do not take a moment to relax and breathe.  It is funny how the mind can work when busyness takes precedence over self-care.  The very thing that keeps us alive takes a backseat because the task at hand becomes more important.  I remember sitting in a holistic health and wellness class and the person teaching was talking about breathing.  That was the first time in all my 25 years at the time that I took that deep of a breath.

As a professional woman or an entrepreneur it can be easy to get bogged down with work. Let’s face it you have meetings, you have clients, and now that most people are home, you also have family duties. It can be extremely difficult to focus on your health and wellness. I completely get it. It can feel defeating when you make those brand new health goals to get that lean, fit body, all to realize that the day is over and you missed yet another day to workout.

How To Manage Your Time As A Mom

 

Whether you are a stay–at-home mom or a working mom managing your time can be difficult.  You are not only taking care of yourself, you are taking care of others.  When you do not have good time management you can feel stressed, overwhelmed, and extremely anxious.  There is a sense of not feeling balanced and not at peace.

As a mom many people are demanding of your time.  If you are married with children then your husband and your children require your time.  If you are not married, but have children then children require your time.  Add working on top of this, well many people need you.  However you need yourself as well.  Managing your time is a form of self care so you can visibly see where you can find time for yourself and others.
